Let’s dive in!

Outfits for Teenage Guys

There will be 4 sections that each go over 10 different outfits. Each section will be for a specific season.

The order of the seasons will be summer, fall, winter, and then spring. Take a look!

Summer Outfits for Teenage Guys

If you’re approaching the summer season, then these 10 outfits are definitely for you…

1) Patterned Shorts and Button Up

patterned shorts and button up outfit

Summer means heat, and heat means it’s time to pull out the shorts!

Shorts with some sort of pattern is a great way to get a little bit of style and vibrancy to your outfit.

Pair this with a well fitting, short sleeve, and breathable button up to make the greatest summer look of all time!

Notice how the model is wearing shorts that don’t go past the knees and how the button up is rolled up once to show off some of the arms.

Everything fits perfectly, which is why it looks better than if he wore the same outfit, but with 1 size too large.

2) Shorts and T-Shirt

shorts and t-shirt outfit for teenage guys

A shorts and t-shirt combo is a simple and casual look to wear out practically anywhere during the summer time.

This isn’t just any pair of shorts or t-shirt either. These actually fit properly and the colors match up well.

Red and gray is a common combination of colors for a men’s outfit. Red usually looks best on lighter skin colors, but give it a try and see how it feels for you.

Pairing this outfit with a snapback hat finishes it off perfectly and gives off a young and fun vibe for a teenage guy.

3) White and Blue

summer outfits for teenage guys

A white pair of shorts and a blue button up makes for one of the best summer outfits for teenage guys!

I’m sure we can all agree that this model is wearing these clothes perfectly. The short sleeved button up leaves no extra saggy room for it to droop down.

The shorts don’t go past the knees and they hug the thighs properly without being too baggy or strangling his legs either.

Definitely consider adding these pieces to your wardrobe essentials if you haven’t already and try out the fit of the clothing in stores to get the right size.

4) Jeans and Floral Shirt

jeans and floral outfits for teen boys

If your weather allows it, throwing on a pair of jeans with a floral shirt is fun and relaxed at the same time.

Going for a subtle floral, fruit, or colored pattern on a shirt always works well during the summer. Again, we don’t want baggy Hawaiian shirts here!

You can cuff (roll up) your jeans a little to show off the ankles and keep you cool. Doing the same with your shirt sleeves also adds some style.

We don’t want to look like absolute douchebags when rolling up our clothing. Keep the rolling to a bare minimum. One roll is usually more than enough.

5) Chinos and Short Sleeve

chinos and short sleeve t-shirt outfit

As a teenage guy, chinos are definitely something you should have in your closet. It’s a great substitute for jeans when it’s warm outside.

A simple well-fitting tee to go on top works great with chinos. Blue and white is a great combo for the summer time.

You can pair this stylish outfit with a watch, snapback, and white shoes.

If you’re a skinnier guy, horizontal stripes are a great illusion to make you look a little wider. Vertical stripes do the opposite (best for bigger guys).

6) Breathable Double Layer

double layer summer outfits for guys

If your summer heat is mild enough, consider trying this double layer option!

It’s an excellent way to add layering and rugged style to your look even when the winter and spring season have come to an end.

Try matching up colors like greens, browns, oranges, and blues to create that fall outfit vibe.

We’re still using short sleeved clothing here, but with colors that are teasing the fall season. White shoes and sunglasses also work perfectly in this mix of styles.

A 3/4 sleeve button up is a fantastic piece to use as the outer layer!

7) Cool and Vibrant

vibrant summer outfit colors

This cool and vibrant look is one of my favorite outfits for teenage guys in the summer who have confidence.

If you’re bold and outgoing, then this is the outfit that will match your personality more than anything.

For this outfit, you’ll need a pair of shorts or t-shirt that has a big pop of color. Follow it up with a similar color piece that is slightly less vibrant.

This makes the colorful shorts stand out along with a well-fitting subtle t-shirt. A button up with a minimal pattern works really well here.

 8) Black on Black

black on black summer outfits for teenage guys

The idea here is simple. Wear black pants and a black shirt.

Pairing it with white shoes is an awesome way to add a little stand out feature to the outfit. A bracelet or watch could also upgrade your style.

Make sure the fit of your clothing is actually proper. I can’t stress this enough.

The color black is actually a slimming agent. Consider wearing black when you want to look a little slimmer on a night out.

It can help accentuate muscles too!

9) Sweat Shorts and T-Shirt

sweat shorts and t-shirt summer

The name of the game during the summer is simplicity. It really doesn’t take much to look good, as long as you know what you’re doing.

Take this model for example. He’s wearing a well-fitting pair of blue sweat shorts and a plain white tee!

Yes, he’s a muscular guy which can make him look slightly better in his outfit. However, the same thing applies to any body type with the proper fit of clothing!

A hat and sunglasses complete the look along with a pair of white sneakers.

10) Black and White

black and white summer outfit for men

There’s something about black and white that always works well when it comes to teenage guy’s clothing.

To complete this outfit, you have to think of yourself as a zebra from the top to the bottom. Your colors should alternate from white to black.

For example, this model has a black backpack,  then white shirt, then black shorts, then white shoes.

It doesn’t get more basic than this, but the style is still most definitely there! Consider this combo when you need a quick style upgrade.

Fall Outfits for Teenage Guys

If the autumn season is on its way, you’ll want to see these fall outfits to give you a bit of inspiration!

11) Jeans and a Sweatshirt

Jeans and Sweatshirt

Jeans and a sweatshirt is one of the most classic, simple, and easy fall outfits for teenage guys to wear at any occasion.

A well fitting pair of jeans along with a defined plain sweatshirt is ideal for this look.

Pair basic colors such as blue, white, black, and grey. Throw on some clean white sneakers and you’ll be looking fresher than ever.

A nice watch on top of everything is like the icing on a cake to finish off this iconic look.

12) T-Shirt and a Flannel

t-shirt and flannel teenage guys

A t-shirt and flannel should be in any teenage guy’s wardrobe along with the rest of the wardrobe essentials.

Flannels don’t have to be all colorful if that’s not your style. There are tons of minimalistic colors and designs to choose from.

Again, fit matters so you don’t want to go around with an oversized flannel. It simply won’t look right on top of a t-shirt.

Layering these 2 pieces together over some ripped jeans makes you look badass. Add some boots to the look and you’ll be on a whole other level.

13) Double Jacket

double jacket men's style

The double jacket (or jacket over hoodie) combo is one of the toughest fall outfits to pull off. However, it’s also one of the most fashionable things you can do.

If your fall season is still hot, this might not be the outfit for you. If your falls are cool, then definitely give this double jacket look a try!

Make sure the jackets and hoodies are relatively plain. Meaning, don’t wear any with extravagant designs on the front.

Also, the colors of the jackets should coordinate in color very easily. It should look like they were meant to match up together, not like it was forced.

14) White T-Shirt and Sherpa Jacket

Sherpa lined jacket fall outfits

A sherpa lined jacket is a jacket (usually denim) that has fur inside for insulation, warmth, and a pop of style.

Pairing up one of these sherpa lined jackets with a plain white tee is one of the most badass outfits for teenage guys.

The jeans or chinos should match in color. A lot of times a monochromatic (one color) style is great for this look.

I highly recommend grabbing one of these jackets the next time you shop for clothes to add an iconic and head-turning piece to your wardrobe.

15) Rugged Fall Colors

Rugged fall outfit for guys

There’s no better way to represent fall than with the natural colors of fall themselves!

A rugged look always goes great with this season since the browns, greens, beiges, and oranges work so well.

If there’s one thing you have to nail down in this look, it’s the rugged boots. As a teenager, you’ll immediately stand out from the crowd if you’re wearing any type of boot.

Branching out with style at a young age starts with simplicity. Notice how most of the men in these pictures are wearing very basic colors with a basic fit and they’re killing it!

It doesn’t have to be complicated as long as you have the basics to work with. Get creative with what you have and try to match the seasons however you can.

16) Jeans and a Hoodie

fall outfits for teenage guys

If you don’t have these 2 staple pieces of clothing in your closet right now, stop reading this and go get them.

Oftentimes hoodies can seem like they’re hard to make look good because they are naturally baggy and thick. However, it doesn’t always have to be the case.

Notice how the hoodie naturally sits on the model’s body, but fits his arms nicely and doesn’t have much overhang around the belt.

This is the type of hoodie you should look for. Simple, basic, but bold written all over it.

Jeans (ripped or normal) go great with almost any hoodie you throw on. You can then dress up with boots or dress down with sneakers.

17) Plaid and Jeans

Plaid and jeans

Layering plaid over a simple t-shirt and pairing it with jeans is the sweetest looking outfit for teen guys in the fall.

It has “teenager” written all over it with its edgy, young, and badass style.

By the way, not all plaids have to be crazy in terms of color and pattern. There are much more relaxing designs to choose from.

What really matters is how well the plaid shirt fits you and how well your jeans match the shirt.

Get those 2 things locked down and you’ll be on your way to stylish excellence!

18) Shorts and Button Up

Short and button up for teens

While the term “fall” usually means the weather is getting cold, some areas are still relatively warm.

This look gives off a very confident message. A message that says “I’m ready to have fun, be casual, and get down to business” all in one.

This outfit brings everything you love about winter and turns it into a fall classic.

Greens, blues, greys, and browns are excellent colors to pair up with this outfit. Plus, most of those colors naturally match well together (as long as they’re not overly vibrant).

You can also change your look up with boots, white sneakers, a watch, or even a beanie to tie it all off.

There are tons of ways to wear this exact combo depending on the occasion, including high school.

33) Denim on Denim

Now, we’re not talking about a Canadian tuxedo here. This is a simple combination of denim jeans and a thin denim button up.

Leaving the button up open allows you to add a pop of white underneath the whole look. That way it’s not just blue everywhere.

If you have a simple pair of boots, now would be a great time to wear them. The model is wearing chukka boots, but chelsea boots could work here too.

Again, the button up isn’t too baggy, it fits the model perfectly without being too choked up.

34) Floral T-shirt and Cropped Jeans

Stylish spring outfit for teenage guys

Not everyone is into the whole floral look, but if you can pull it off, this is definitely a bold style!

Vertical stripes on a button up is going to do 2 things for you:

  1. Add a touch of design to your outfit
  2. Make you look slimmer

37) Floral and Shorts

floral t-shirt and shorts

Similar to the floral t-shirt with jeans, the floral with shorts is a simple way to dress down on a hot day.

The goal of this look is more about getting a well-fitting pair of shorts. It should never go past your knee and should look more snug than baggy around your legs.

It also wouldn’t hurt to get some no-show socks to wear with your shoes, just to make the outfit look even cleaner.

If you’re not a floral type of guy, a simple button up will do just as well (if not better)!

There are 2 absolute staples here that should be wardrobe essentials for men all over the world:

A bomber jacket is one of the best pieces you can have to layer on top of a t-shirt when it’s a little cooler than usual outside.

It’s a lot more stylish than a jacket, especially when you’re pairing it with a beige pair of chinos. Once again, chinos for the win!

Beige brings this color that isn’t always common in most outfits, but it’s also so subtle that it becomes a stylish weapon in your closet.
