Here are 5 Steps to Clear Skin for Guys:

Wash Your Face

Wash your face twice a day. Once when you wake up and once before you go to sleep. Get a good facial cleanser that gently scrubs away the dirt and oils from the skin.

You don’t want to get an aggressive scrub or exfoliator for this. The face wash should be a gentle one that is smooth and might even have a cooling feel to it.

You won’t regret using this facial cleanser to clear up your skin:When you rub the cleanser on your face, be super gentle and rub in circular motions. Rubbing to hard can increase redness and make your face too dry after.

Moisturizer

Remembering this step is crucial to your skin care. Always moisturize after washing your face. This is going to prevent it from getting dry and red.

If your face gets dry, it’s going to make your face produce even more oils which is not what you want. This is by far the best moisturizer I’ve ever tried:

The moisturizer is what tricks your face into thinking it’s already oiled and doesn’t need any extra lubrication. Extra oils can clog your pores and give you acne, so moisturize after you wash every time.

Exfoliate

An exfoliator is necessary to get a deeper clean once in a while. Only use an exfoliator twice a week.

It is going to remove the dead skin from your face and some extra dirt and oil that a normal cleanser can’t remove.

Using an exfoliator is easier when you are completely shaved, so try and do it then. It should only be done twice a week because it is more aggressive and is not healthy for your skin if you do it too often. Make sure you apply moisturizer after this one too.

Water

Water has so many health benefits and especially for your skin. Drinking a lot of water will flush out the bacteria and toxins in your body that lead to dirty, oily skin. Lack of water will also lead to acne.

Think of water as your face wash from the inside of your body. It is getting rid of the bad stuff from the other side of your skin.

Another benefit water gives to the face is hydration. Water hydrates the face so it isn’t getting dry quickly and over producing oil.

Eat Clean

Staying on a clean diet will help prevent any acne and extra oil build up. Eating junk foods that are high in fats and oils will give your face the same thing.

It is very common that diet is what affects acne or poor skin. A clean diet will make it easier on your body to process fats and oils throughout.
